Katikatis newest tourism venture is hot, trendy and sustainable.  Katikaticuisine.com is the self drive food trail that takes you from plant to plate.

Nestled into the coastline, Katikati is the northern gateway to the Bay of Plenty.  From hills to harbour, it is no more than a 10 minute drive.  Sitting at the foothills of the Kaimai-Mamaku Forest Park and dipping its toes into the Tauranga harbour you will discover that Katikati has an amazing array of artisan producers and wonderful food grown from our fertile land and pristine waters.

The venture started when a group of local tourism operators got together with Tourism Bay of Plenty and Katch Katikati to see how they could get more tourists to the area.  What better way than to celebrate something that was already here! 

Intended for self-drive visitors they are also able to assist with organising groups and tours to explore what they have to offer by contacting the general enquires line.

Designed to take you from plant to plate, you can gather your seed and edible plants, discover our fresh seasonal produce and gather up armfuls of cheese, salami, breads, and goodies to take away with you during your visit.  Whether it’s a day trip out, or a weekend away, it’s all here in Katikati.
